Everyone's home is a mini museum, with personal treasures on display and parts of our histories stored and forgotten. During lockdown, we asked our Twitter friends to look for different themed items each week and share them on the hashtag #QBLockdownHunt. From flyers to badges, t-shirts to postcards, the seemingly-trivial items we collect are rich with stories and personal experience.

Our search for ephemera was paired with a Twitter takeover by curator and museum guide, Dan Vo. Every Friday he shared our follower’s discoveries and hosted a series of live interviews with a diverse range of guests. Alongside discussing the week's QB Lockdown Hunt theme, and sharing some of their own items of interest, our interviewees gave us an insight into their lives and work, discussing everything from queer life and Pride under lockdown, to Black Lives Matter and reformation of the Gender Recognition Act.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Dan Vo and our guests – all 36 of them – for their time and enthusiasm during a difficult period in our shared history. Collectively, the interviews run to ten hours, have enjoyed around 43,000 views so far and, if you missed them, the links to each are below.
