On 28 September, we held an evening reception to launch a groundbreaking pop-up exhibition created with our longtime partners, Levi's®. Icons in Denim – A Queer Perspective featured iconic outfits from the Levi’s® Archives in San Francisco, and was the first time they had been displayed outside the United States. From Jake Gylenhall’s Brokeback Mountain costume to a 60’s Lesbian Hell’s Angels gang jacket via Elton John, Warhol, Haring and Harvey Milk. A last minute addition were a pair of 501s belonging to Rock icon, Freddie Mercury, acquired only days before from Sotheby's. Guests enjoyed an exclusive preview in truly fabulous fashion, with DJs, a CÎROC cocktail bar and prosecco courtesy of Madame F.
