On 19 August, for the fourth year, Queer Britain took over an evening of King's Cross Summer Sounds, the annual free music festival in Coal Drops Yard. Yshee Black hosted a night of beatboxing by Kimmy Beatbox, DJ sets from Toby Corton, soul and R&B from Thandi Phoenix, Arno Sacco’s R&B, jazz from Bessi and funk, electro and alt-pop courtesy of Leah Cleaver. A heartfelt thank you to King's Cross, Arts Trust, all our artists and to Sounds Queer for partnering with us to produce yet another memorable evening. Sounds Queer is a live music showcase that champions diverse voices and sounds from the LGBTQ+ community. Here's to next year...
